The Sandwich Concert Band
Sandwich Concert Band now has a new rehearsal venue - The Jubilee Centre,
Jubilee Road, Sandwich, CT13 0QP
We are also happy to welcome new players to join us – please be in touch first (email:
contact@sandwichband.org.uk) as we have procedures in place to keep everyone safe.
Our Concert Band is aimed at brass, woodwind and percussion players from Grade 5
level, and our Training Band is suitable for players of Grade 1 upwards.
Some photos from our highly successful, well-attended and enjoyable concert on
Sunday 10th April 2022. The Band, and our Musical Director Benedict Preece, excelled
themselves! Our performance, on behalf of The Rotary Club of Thanet, helped to raise
£1200 for local charities. Many thanks to everyone who played, and everyone who
came to watch. It's great to get back to concert playing.
Sandwich Concert Band are very pleased to announce the appointment of Jake Convery
as our new Musical Director, and look forward to sharing more information about Jake
soon.
